Approve Pending Subscribers

Overview

When subscription approval is enabled, new subscription requests remain pending until an authorized admin approves them. This process helps ensure only approved users join a channel. This topic explains how to review and approve pending subscribers for a channel.

Prerequisite: Subscription approval must be enabled. For details, see Configure General Subscription Settings

Approve Pending Subscribers

1. Select the Channels tab.

2. Locate the channel:
   
   Use My Channels to manage channels you own or manage.
   Organization admins can also use All Channels to manage any channel.

3. Select the channel name to open its settings.

4. In the left navigation, select Subscribers.

5. Open the Pending Subscribers tab.

6. Review the list of pending requests.

7. Approve the subscription request as needed.

Once approved, the subscriber is added to the channel and can begin receiving messages according to channel settings.

Notes

• Only admins with appropriate permissions can approve subscription requests.

• Pending requests remain inactive until approved.
