# Create and Send Web Poll Surveys
### **Overview**
Web Poll Surveys let you gather feedback from recipients through interactive polls. Messages are sent with a secure link where recipients can answer the poll questions. You can customize question types, set response requirements, and deliver the poll through multiple channels. This guide explains how to create and send a web poll, focusing on the poll creation process. For details on sending messages, refer to the *Send New Messages* topic.

### Create a Web Poll
1. From the **New Message** menu, select **New Web Poll**.
1. From the **New Web Poll Message** page choose the **message type**, **recipients**, and **delivery methods** (Email, Text/SMS, or Regroup Mobile).
- Audio-based methods are not available for web polls.
- You can also configure preferences such as phone/email types, recipient language, and SMS auto-retry.
- You can exclude recipients from the selected group/channel
- Enable Dynamic SMS/TTS
- **Note:** When Dynamic SMS/TTS is enabled, the email posting method is automatically disabled.
1. In the **Sender Profile** section, select an existing profile or create a new one.
2. In the **Message Content** section, write a message to introduce your poll.
- The poll link is automatically included and cannot be removed, but you can reposition it within the message.
- The message includes a web poll URL, which you can copy or move within the message, but cannot edit or delete.
### Build the Web Poll
1. In the **Web Poll Title** field, enter a heading for your poll.
2. (Optional) Add a description to provide more context.
3. Click the **question field** to add a new question.
#### Configure Questions
1. Enter the question text.
2. Optionally, add images or links
3. Choose an **Answer Type** from the dropdown.
#### Answer Types Choose from the following answer types. After selecting an answer type, proceed to step 4 to finalize and send the poll.
- **Multiple Choice** – Recipients select one answer from several options. You can add “Other” or “None of the above.”
- **Checkboxes** – Recipients select one or more answers.
- **Short Answer** – Single text field with no character limit.
- **Long Answer** – Larger text field for detailed responses.
- **Dropdown** – Recipients select from a dropdown menu. You can add “None of the above.”
- **Rating Scale** – Numeric range (1–10) with customizable labels.
- **Multiple Choice Grid** – A matrix where recipients select one answer per row.
- **Checkbox Grid** – A matrix allowing multiple answers per row.
- **Multiple Textboxes** – Several labeled text fields for responses.
- **Date/Time** – Recipients select a date, time, or both.
For each question type, you can:
- Mark the question as **Required**.
- Add or delete answer options.
- Reorder questions by dragging them.
- Choose to number questions or label them alphabetically.
### Finalize and Send
1. Review your poll using **Preview**. You can send a test message to yourself.
2. Select **Send Now** to deliver immediately or **Schedule for Later** to send at a specific time.
1. Confirm by clicking **Send**.
Recipients will receive your message with the poll link. They can save answers and submit them later or complete the poll immediately.
