Create or Update Group Hierarchy: Overview

Group hierarchy allows you to arrange groups in a hierarchical structure. You can nest groups by mimicking your organization's hierarchy by creating subgroup categories. With group hierarchy, you can manage multiple groups as a single unit for sending messages, applying settings and assigning an admin.

You can view the nested groups from the My Groups or All groups page by clicking the plus sign (+) on the group lists.

To create a hierarchy, you must:

1. Create a parent group: A parent group is any group under which one or more groups are nested. To create a new group, see the topic Create a new group.

2. Create Group Hierarchy: To create a hierarchy, you must nest new or already existing groups under a parent group.
