Integrate AlertUs and Regroup API

When the Access API is enabled and set up on the Regroup application, you must set up the AlertUs application to integrate with Regroup. 

Here is how you integrate AlertUs and Regroup using API:

  1. Login to your AlertUs Server.

  2. Locate and open the AlertusMiddleware.impl.properties text file in your Alertus system.

  3. Copy the following information into the text file:

    regroup2.enabled = true

    regroup2.debug = false

    regroup2.apiKey = [ENTER YOUR API KEY]

    regroup2.apiSecretKey = [ENTER API KEY SECRET]

    regroup2.webservice.timeoutMillis = 15000

    regroup2.webservice.url = https://app.regroup.com/api/v3/ (https://app.regroup.com/api/v3/)

  4. Save the file.

  5. Open Windows Services and locate the AlertUs Tomcat Service. 

  6. Restart AlertUs Tomcat Service to allow the AlertUsMiddleware.impl.properties file to take effect.

    You have now set up the two-way integration.
