# Invite Admins to Predefined or Custom Roles
### Overview
You can invite or add administrators to predefined or custom roles within your organization. Roles define what administrators can access within the organization. Custom roles must be created and configured before assigning admins. You can assign one or multiple roles during the invitation process.

#### **Invite or Add Admins to a Role**
1. Open **Organization Settings**.
2. Select **Admins & Roles** from the left navigation menu.
3. Locate the required role:
- Scroll to the **Roles** section, or
- Search for the role by name.
4. Select the **vertical ellipsis** next to the role and choose **Invite Admin**.
5. Enter admin details in the **Admins** field:
- Select an existing admin by name, or
- Enter an email address to invite a new admin.
- Add multiple admins as needed.
6. (Optional) Add admins in bulk:
- Select **Upload via CSV**.
- Upload a CSV file that follows the required format.
7. Review the role assignment:
- The selected role and role type are preselected.
- Add additional roles if needed.
8. If the role type is **Groups** or **Channels**, select the groups or channels the admin can manage.
9. (Optional) Enable **Add admin as a contact to group**.
When enabled, the system creates a contact profile using the admin’s information and adds it to the selected groups. If a contact with the same primary email address already exists, it is automatically linked to the admin account.
10. (Optional) Enable **Send new admins an invitation to sign up** and add a message if required.
**Note:** Admins are added only after accepting the invitation.
11. Select **Add**.

#### **Result**:
Admins are added with the assigned roles. Invited admins gain access after accepting the invitation.
