[Set Up Organization Account](https://resources.regroup.com/regroupkb/set-up-organization-account) # Manage Categories Category Management enables Organization Admins to create categories that can be used to organize and manage various resources within an organization. Once categories are created and the Category Management feature is enabled, categories can be assigned to the following resources: - Quick Message Templates - Message Templates - Sender Profiles - Voice Recordings - Map Regions After categories are assigned, users can filter these resources by category to quickly find the items they need. To access categories: 1. Click the Settings icon in the header menu. 2. Select **Enabled Categories** on the **Categories** page to enable Category Management. When enabled, the categories list is displayed, and categories can be assigned to supported resources, such as Quick Message templates, Message Templates, Sender Profiled, etc. When disabled, the categories list is hidden, and categories cannot be assigned to supported resources. ![](https://resources.regroup.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/Enable-Categories.png) On the **Categories** page, you can view a list of categories and their corresponding information. - **Category Name**: Name of the category. - **Created By**: Name of the user who created the category. - **Created** **Date**: The creation date of the category. - **Templates Assigned**: The number of templates associated with this category. ### Create a Category Follow the steps to create a category: 1. In the **Create Category** dialog, specify a name for the category. ![](https://resources.regroup.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/Create-Category2.png) 3. Click the **Save** button. The category has been created and added in the list. Once a category is created, it becomes available for assignment to Quick Message Templates, Message Templates, Sender Profiles, Voice Recordings, and Map Regions. You can assign the category to the appropriate templates to organize them effectively and make them easier to manage and filter. ### Modify a Category Follow the steps to modify a category: 1. From the popup menu, click **View and Edit**. 3. In the **Edit Category** dialog, update the category name as needed, and then click **Save** to apply the changes. ### Remove a Category Follow the steps to remove a category: 1. In the **Confirm** dialog, type **Yes**, and then click **OK**.
