Overview of Channels

Organization admins create channels to meet a specific communication need, such as emergency alerts, weather alerts, newsletters or regular updates. You can add any combination of individuals based on location, teams, departments or the whole organization as recipients in a channel. 

Administrators can predefine a channel's delivery methods, recipients and sender profiles. They can also allow subscriptions to a channel, define who can subscribe and enable the subscribers to receive communications along with the groups and contacts of the channel.

You can do the following in the Channels section:

• Add recipients

• Import Contacts, Subscribers, and Admins to Channes and Groups Using CSV

• Add and update admins

• Setup channel

• Update existing channels

• Configure default message methods and sender profile

• Manage channel subscription
