[UnifiedFX Integration](https://resources.regroup.com/regroupkb/regroup-add-ons#unifiedfx-integration) # Send UnifiedFX Messages When you have the add-on enabled and configured, UnifiedFX appears as a delivery method while sending messages. You can send new messages and quick messages using UnifiedFX. The sender profile, phone and recipients for the UnifiedFX messages are preselected when you configure the connection and select the automation FX phone filters. You can send the UnifiedFX messages as text, audio (voice/TTS) and vibration. This topic describes how to send UnifiedFX messages. See the topic [Send New Messages](https://docs.regroup.com/docs/send-new-messages/) for more details on sending messages using other delivery methods. Here is how you send UnifiedFX messages: 1. Click **New Message** button. In the **Message Type** section, select from the following options: 1. **Message to Channel**: to send the message to channels. 2. **Ad Hoc Messages**: to send messages to groups and individuals. 3. **Quick Messages**:  to send messages to channels, groups or individuals. UnifiedFX messages don’t require recipients or sender profiles. You may need them only if you have other delivery methods selected. See the topic [Send New Messages](https://docs.regroup.com/docs/send-new-messages/) for more details on sending messages using other delivery methods. 4. Select **UnifiedFX** as the delivery method. Click **Select the automation FX phone filter** dropdown to select the phone filter or grouping you configured in the UnifiedFX application. The members on this phone receive the message. 6. Click the **Select the Delivery Type** dropdown to select how the message must be delivered. The following are the options: - **Text**: The text message appears on the recipient’s phone with a prompt and clears per the duration you set. - **Voice**: The message plays audio on the recipient's phone using the audio source you choose. - **Vibrate**: The recipient's phone vibrates for a set duration. 7. Enter a message name in the **Name** field. 8. Configure the delivery options per the Delivery Type you chose: - If you chose **Text**: 1. Enter the sender details in the **Prompt** field. 2. In the **Clear** field, enter when the message should be cleared from the phone screen. **Tip**: If you don’t enter a value, the recipient has to click clear to remove the message. 3. You can enter a **Call Back** **Number** to receive reply calls if required. Click the **Audio Source** to select how to send the audio. The following are the options: - **TFTP**: Send the existing TFT protocol files from the UnifiedFx system \> Click the **URI** dropdown to select the file you plan to send. - **AutomationFX**: Upload an audio file to the TFTP server to message it using a URI. \> Click **Upload Audio File** to select and upload a file from your computer.\> The uploaded file appears as the URI. - **TTS**: Convert the text message into an audio clip to play on the phone.. Enter how many times the audio clip must repeat while delivering in the **Audio Repeat Count** field. 3. Enter the frequency at which audio must be paused in the **Audio Repeat Interval** field. - If you select **Vibrate**: 1. Click the **Vibrate Duration** field to enter, in seconds, how long the phone should vibrate. 2. Enter how many times the vibration must repeat in the **Vibrate Repeat Count** field. 3. Enter the frequency at which vibration must be paused in the **Vibrate Repeat Interval** field. If you select **Text** as the **Delivery Type** or have other delivery methods other than UnifiedFX, enter the **Message Title** and **Message Content**. 10.
