Set Up Message Methods and Sender Profiles

Message defaults enable your organization to access standardized message delivery methods and sender profiles quickly. You can configure message defaults at the channel and organization levels.

While sending a new message, admins can create a custom sender profile or select preconfigured ones. Using the preconfigured ones can save time and facilitate standardization. You can edit predefined message defaults while sending messages.

You can set up the following message defaults:

• Default messaging method configure required message delivery methods as the default:

  • Organization level: Set Default Message Delivery Methods

  • Channel level: Configure Default Message Methods and Sender Profile.

• Sender profiles: configure the sender details and the appearance of From section of messages for a contact.

  • Organization level: Create Sender Profiles

  • Channel level: Create Sender Profiles

• Mandate sender profile: Limit all admins to send messages only using a particular profile. Admins cannot update these profiles. The mandate sender profile overrides all the preselected sender profiles. See the topic: Set up Mandate Sender Profile.

Tip: You cannot reuse the profiles you create while sending messages.
