Setting Up Email In & Message In for Channels
Overview
The Message In feature allows you to send messages to all channel recipients via email or SMS. Use Email In to send messages by emailing the channels email ID or SMS/Text In (TipSafe) to send messages using the channels DID. This feature supports on-the-go messaging and anonymous polling. You can also control who can send messages to the channel.
Features
-
Email In: Send an email to a channels email address to deliver a message to all channel recipients. Add multiple channel email IDs as recipients to send to multiple channels. If a contact belongs to more than one channel, they’ll only receive the message once.
-
SMS/Text In (TipSafe): Send an SMS to a channels dedicated number (DID) to notify all channel recipients. This is a premium feature—contact Regroup to enable it and receive a channel DID.
