Setup Channels: Overview

After creating a channel, the organization or channel admin can set up multiple configurations to improve the channel’s functionalities.

• Channel General Setting: Set up the channel details, admin access permissions, reply permissions and new message notifications for other admins.

• Set Up Messaging Methods and Sender Profiles: Configure a default message delivery method and sender profiles for all the messages sent from the channel.  

• Add Recipients: Add groups, contacts in a specific location or individual contacts as the recipient of channel messages.

• Setup Message In: Use the Message In feature to send messages to channel contacts by sending a mail to the channel Mail ID.

•  Setup Channel Subscriptions: Determine who can subscribe to a channel. A subscriber can receive messages from the channels along with other contacts.

• Manage Subscribers: Edit a subscriber’s profile with details, remove them or promote the subscriber to admin.

• RSS publication: Use RSS (Really Simple Syndication) publication to publish messages from channels.

• Set Up Social Media: Integrate the Regroup account with your social media pages to share messages.
