# View and Download Desktop Notification Report

You can view and download the detailed summary report of Desktop Notification messages in the Reports section of the Sent Messages. Admins can view and download the message reports of groups or channels if they have permission to send messages to them. You also can retrieve the report using the AdHocAlert API.

**Note**: To view Desktop Notification message reports, you must configure the **API token** and **Secret** (password) on the **Desktop Notification add-on**. The message report is available only if the channel or group’s RSS settings are dedicated to Desktop Notifications alone.

Here is how you view and download the Desktop Notification message reports:

1. Click the **Messages** dropdown and select **Sent Messages**.

   Otherwise, click the **Messages** tab and **Send Messages** on the left navigation panel.

   The **Sent Message** page opens with the list of messages sent from your organization.
2. Click the **Message Title** of the desktop notification to see the report.

   The selected message opens.
3. The **Reports** tab of the selected message opens by default. Else, click it.

4. You can click the **Action: Any** field to sort the status of notifications.
   
   The available options are:
   
     - **Displayed**: The notification was displayed on the recipient UUID (Universal Unique Identifier).
     - **Expired**: The notification expired without any action from the recipient UUID (Universal Unique Identifier).
     - **Ignored**: The recipient ignored the notification.

5. You can click **Export** to download and save the report to your computer with all columns available on this page.

You have now viewed and downloaded the Desktop Notification report.
