Manage Files

The Files section allows you to upload and manage map files that can be displayed as geographic layers on dashboard maps. These files can contain information such as zones, regions, boundaries, and other geographic areas, helping provide additional map context when monitoring alerts and assets. 

Uploaded map files can later be selected from Map Layers & Overlays on a Dashboard Workspace and displayed on the map. 

Access Files

  1. From the left navigation pane, click Files.
    The Files page is displayed.

The Map Files section lists the map files currently available in Regroup Threat Intelligence. Each uploaded map file displays information such as: 

  • File name:Displays the name of the uploaded map file. 
  • File size: Displays the size of the uploaded file. 
  • Upload date: Displays the date when the file was uploaded. 

Upload a Map File

You can upload a map file to make additional geographic information available for display on Dashboard Workspace maps. 

  1. From the left navigation pane, click Files.
  2. On the Files page, click Upload in the upper-right corner of the Map Files section. 
  3. Browse and select the map file you want to upload from your device. 

After the upload is completed successfully, the file appears in the Map Files list. The uploaded file can then be selected as a map layer from the Map Layers & Overlays dialog.

Delete a Map File

To delete a file:

  1. From the left navigation pane, click Files.
  2. Locate the map file you want to remove.   
  3. Click the Delete (trash) icon for the file. 
    The Delete File confirmation dialog is displayed. 
  4. Click Delete to permanently remove the map file.
The file is removed from the Map Files list and is no longer available for selection as a map layer.
